"If you have State Farm Insurance for your home, I highly recommend that you call them and ask if your home main drain stack springs a leak, am I covered? Imagine our surprise when we were told that it was not covered, nor was the removal of the toilet, and both sides of the wall to replace the drain joint. Neither was the replacement of the floor tiles that had to be replaced or the restoration service that was required to remove the water and wetness from the walls, the cabinets, and floor from the leak to prevent mold from growing. In short NOT A SINGLE THING WAS COVERED. I was given a different reason both times that I talked to the adjuster and still do not have a clear understanding from the policy on why not a single thing was covered from this claim. If Will Plauche' is your State Farm Insurance Agent, you might need to go to the office, since returning calls is not his strength. I have called numerous times and left very clear messages asking for him to call me on behalf of my 87-year-old mother-in-law who is the home owner and has insurance coverage with this office since 1968 (house bought new and no claims have been filed on the home)."
